Well, I woke up at the same time today as everyday, at 6:52. The funny part about that is, my alarm is set forward 8 minutes for no apparent reason that I can think of other than... wait, nope, no reason at all.
I wake up, kiss my wife, shower, eat, check instagram, admire my Surly, and leave for work all before it is actually 6:52. Yes, you read that right, I am like Flash freaking Gordon in the morning.
I walk to my work van parked in the same spot behind my apartment. I start my car, quickly turn down the radio due to my unnecessary jamming out of the previous day, and drive off to my first call. I am Superman, and by Superman I mean that I am an Appliance Repair Man, at Andy's Appliance Repair. Do the math, I fix appliances, I love it. End of story.
I come home, say hello to my wife, who ignores me for a few minutes until I relentlessly say her name over-and-over again in multiple mediums. I love her.
We usually contemplate making dinner for a while, sometimes have a spontaneous taco night and call it "Taco Tuesday... Wednesday... Thurs... ect..." but then usually don't make anything and spend an unnecessary amount of time trying to decide what to have for dinner.
We go home, watch netflix, get in bed, play HeadsUp (THE BEST IPHONE GAME IN AMERICA) and then I am really bad at it, and then we go to bed.
I love my wife, I love Jesus, I love my life.

My new baby. The Surly Krampus.
I finally got it! (I finally talked Manda into letting me get it, thanks ladyfriend)
2013 First Generation Surly Krampus in Moonlit Swamp (Metallic Green.)
I picked this puppy up at Cycle Works in Lincoln, NE. Those guys hooked me up fat over there (get it? Fat bike? okay shut up). I wasn't sure what I was looking for in a bike, but I knew I wanted something unique and that will last. And that is just what I got. The Krampus is a Medium Fat Bike, meaning that it is running on 29"x3" Surly Knard tires on a Rabbit Hole rim. What that means is the tires are 3 inches thick on a 29 inch rim, so basically I have a 29er mountain bike. I get all the positives from a fatbike on a 29er without all the drawbacks. In-fact, the Krampus is actually capable of running a standard 29er mountain bike tire if wanted. But to save you from my rambling on what it all entails. Here are all the specs and the official Surly website and where I personally purchased mine.

Rear dropouts: Horizontal slotted w/derailleur hanger, 135mm O.L.D.
Brake compatibility: 51mm IS disc mounts frame and fork
Max Disc Brake Rotor Size: 203mm
Braze-ons: Dual water bottle mounts on sizes M–XL, single mount on small. Surly Trip Guide full line guides for brake and derailleurs.
Seatpost diameter: 27.2mm
Seatpost clamp: 30.0mm (Surly stainless included)
Headset/Steertube: 44mm ID. Recommend EC44 lower cups. Zero Stack on top is o.k.
Front derailleur compatibility: High direct mount standard, clamp adapter included
Bottom bracket shell: 73mm shell width, threaded standard English (1.37˝ x 24t)
Chainring clearance: Triple 22/34/44t, Double 26/39t, Max single ring clearance, Middle position, 34T. Outer position 44T.
(Triple will not work with Surly 50mm rim and 29 x 3˝ tire)
Tire clearance: 29 x 3˝
Fork: TIG-welded custom butted 4130 CroMoly, 120mm suspension corrected, 1-1/8˝ steerer tube, 203mm disc brake clearance
Color: Moonlit Swamp
I am in love with my Krampus. Absolutely, positively, overwhelmingly, happy with my purchase. At $1950 MSRP, it is more than worth it. It rolls over anything like a fatbike and climbs like a standard 29er. I have the possibility of putting a shock on the front and that will most likely be my first modification, but the tires give me plenty of suspension for what I am riding on now. I installed my Thudbuster LT and that solves the hardtail issue. It is so simple to shift with the 1x10 gear system and really has no significant drawback for the type of riding I am doing currently.
I've only had it a few days and will continue to keep you updated on how things are running with us.

Howdy, howdy, howdy. I'm Sheriff Woody.
Here it is, my first post, feels like my first time riding a bike. Minus the whole fear of my dad letting go and me slamming into his Jeep... Fortunately, there are no hard objects for me to crash into on an online blog, except for a few grammar and spelling road blocks here and there, but here it goes!
My name is Chase Small, I am 22 and happily married to the woman of my dreams, Amanda. I live in Lincoln, NE and am into mens style, cars, bikes, beer, God, and some inappropriate humor here-and-there. My self-diagnosed ADD may shine through from time-to-time, but that'll keep this interesting.
